- A splashproof quick-access pocket is great for cash and phone

Roll up roll up!
Please note: You need to roll the bag very tightly to line up the two halves of Velcro. This is essential if you want your bag to be waterproof. One or two customers have suggested that we might use a wider strip of Velcro to make it easier to close. But if we did that, then your bag wouldn’t be waterproof.
Note: Velcro® is a registered trademark of Velcro Industries B.V.

Perfect for keeping a small amount of stuff dry on the deck of my kayak without the bulk of the usual dry bags.

My bf uses this bumbag for a few things, work, paddling, cycling and hiking. Its great except its not submersible as he fell off a SUP and water got all in it, thankfully both phone and car keys were in aquapac cases as didn’t trust it , was hoping to be wrong. we did ensure that it was done up correctly as well

Thanks for the comment Jemma. This bag is not rated for underwater/submersible use, but rather for spray, splashing and water jets (IPX6). The pressure of someone falling in would very likely force water through any roll-up closure like this.
For a fully submersible waistpack you’d need to look at our 828 case with a clamp closure instead.

I’d just like to say thanks for my Matt black 3lt waist pack. Came in good time and in perfect order. Being a mountain biker I’ve purchased a few different mountain bike specific waist packs. Plenty of fancy pockets etc, but living in Ireland, it rains a bit. The one thing they all have in common, they’re not waterproof enough. Took my Aquapac waist pack out today on its maiden voyage for 1 and half hours in constant rain and went through every puddle I came across purposely without a rear mud guard just for the ultimate test. Yes, its waterproof, infact, bomb proof. Kept my phone in the front pocket without being wrapped in any tissue and it was perfectly dry. Normally in waterproof pockets you’ll find droplets of condensation on the screen. The mesh zipped pocket inside and hook for my car keys was a nice surprise. Once again, thanks for a great product.

Basically a waterproof bum-bag with sealed seams and a roll-over, dry-bag type closure. Capacity is a claimed three litres, enough for a reasonable run we reckon and in addition to the main, waterproof compartment, there’s also a zipped pocket where you can stow small things you might want rapid access to… it’s designed to do what it says on the box and keep the contents dry on the move.
